Gates. All gates and ticket windows will open 90 minutes prior to the start of each game so that guests may arrive early to enjoy the amenities.. Gate opening times may vary for doubleheaders, concerts, and special pre-game ceremony game dates or highly attended games (Opening Day, Subway Series, Number Retirements, etc.); guests are advised to check the ticket in the MLB Ballpark app. Season Ticket Members receive early entry (30 minutes prior to regular gate opening) on promotional giveaway days only, at the Jackie Robinson Rotunda..

Transit. As MTA facilities, guests are directed to mta.info/guides/stadiums/citi-field-queens. The 7-Train Mets-Willets Point station has a game-day-only accessible exit from the Flushing-bound platform; the Manhattan-bound platform and the LIRR Mets-Willets Point station are not accessible (use Woodside for an accessible LIRR trip).

Rideshare. Uber/Lyft/rideshare pick-up is in the Stadium View East parking lot underneath the highway just north of the Shea Road and Boat Basin Place intersection; exit on the third base side via the Left Field Gate, Stengel or Seaver VIP gates, or the Rotunda main exit and follow the app. Pregame drop-offs may be made along Seaver Way or Roosevelt Avenue. The rideshare zone is just north of the Left Field Gate near the Shea Road/Boat Basin Place intersection. Mobility-challenged guests (Access-A-Ride / accessible dispatch / rideshare) are best dropped off and picked up at the Bullpen Gate on Seaver Way.

Tailgating. Tailgating in any form is not permitted in Lot G/Official Lot or Orange Reserved, and no organized/catered/pre-sold tailgates are permitted in the campus lot, Bus Lot, or Southfield Lot. Small personal gatherings are permitted in other lots only if: the vehicle is parked within one parking-space boundary (setup only in front of or behind the vehicle, never in a space); no saving spaces (all parties arrive together for consecutive spaces); tents/coolers/tables/grills fit within one space boundary; no open flames of any type; no consumption of alcohol; groups may combine spaces only equal to the number of vehicles, parked consecutively; tailgates must yield to traffic flow; and guests must bag their own trash (no trash bins in lots). Failure to comply may result in an NYPD summons and/or removal.

Accessibility. All entry points at Citi Field are ADA accessible; guests with accessibility needs may enter through the designated accessible Hodges, Seaver, or Stengel VIP entrances even without VIP tickets. The ballpark has 11 guest elevators, the Left Field Ramp providing access to all levels (behind sections 129/329/429), accessible/companion seating (over 800 locations), wheelchair entry service, and accessible parking spaces (for guests displaying a valid disability permit with a matching parking purchase). Entry. All bags and hand-carried items are searched prior to entry. Glass bottles, all metal cans and containers, and hard-sided coolers are prohibited (exceptions: empty reusable metal water bottles and hollow can coolers). Guests may bring one factory-sealed plastic water bottle of 20 oz or less and one sealed soft-sided child's juice box per child (not frozen). Alcohol and controlled/illegal substances are prohibited. Other prohibited items include commercial audio/visual equipment, laser pointers, noisemaking devices, fireworks, animals (except service animals), pepper spray/mace, lighters, weapons, and drones (banned in the ballpark and parking lots). Smoking/vaping/smokeless tobacco is prohibited with no designated areas. Re-entry is not allowed: guests who exit will not be readmitted (limited exceptions require prior supervisor approval).
