Getting in

Tailgating. Tailgating is permitted only in areas where traffic or parking is not obstructed, and tailgaters must follow picnic-zone regulations. Small tents are permitted with stakes no larger than 1/4 inch in diameter and no longer than 6 inches, and no ropes; larger tents must be rented from Southern Tradition Tailgating (any service charging to set up more than 10 tailgate setups is not allowed on campus). Personal tents or supplies may not be placed to hold tailgating spots until 5 a.m. the day before home games. Connection to university utilities is strictly prohibited. Pets/animals are prohibited in tailgating areas on gameday (service animals excepted; pets banned campus-wide from noon the day before). Center-campus roads close 4 hours before kickoff. Tailgate tents may be dropped off in designated areas starting 5 a.m. Friday. All picnic areas open at 4 p.m. the day before the game and close at midnight daily; areas must be cleared/vacated by 7 a.m. the day after the game. Charcoal grills are allowed, but charcoal must be fully extinguished and disposed of responsibly; fire pits are not allowed. Generators are allowed but battery inverters are preferred. No wheeled vehicles or trailers (e.g., large grills pulled by a vehicle) are permitted in tailgating areas. Cooking-size propane containers are prohibited inside the stadium. Public RV parking is at the Mississippi Horse Park south of campus (reservations 662-325-9350); transit is provided with drop-off at Newell-Grissom. Reserved RV hook-up lots 26, 34, and 38 open at 6 p.m. Thursday for football weekends (no unauthorized vehicles admitted after 3 p.m.; those remaining after 5 p.m. relocated). For a Thursday night game, RVs may enter reserved lots Wednesday at 6 p.m. and must vacate by 7 a.m. Monday. RV lot 29 at the Scales Building opens 10 a.m. Friday before gameday.
Accessibility. ADA seating: West side Sections 1, 6 & 7; East side Sections 24 & 25 (contact MSU ticket office in advance to request). ADA public parking at Research Park (North, off Hwy 182), Animal & Dairy Science Building (South, off Hailstate Blvd), and online-purchase ADA Lot D; state ADA placard/plate required. ADA transit service begins 4 hours before kickoff (North lot to Old Main Academic Center; South lot to Newell-Grissom) and runs until 2 hours after the game; disability carts connect the ADA transit terminals to Gate L (Old Main) and Gate F (Newell-Grissom). Elevators near Sections 1/8, 10, and 18/23. Accessible accommodations in all public restrooms; family restrooms near Gates E and G1 and the Gridiron/Scoreboard Clubs. A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the First Aid Station (none for rent).
