Getting in

Gates. Washington Mystics - Doors open one hour prior to game time.
Accessibility. CareFirst Arena offers a variety of wheelchair and companion seating locations; seating locations vary by event, and guests should indicate accessible seating needs when buying tickets. Wheelchair escorts are available to assist guests to and from their seats. Baby changing stations are located in most restrooms; a Family Restroom and nursing accommodations are available on the event floor level.
Entry. No re-entry policy during events. Guests who need to exit and re-enter due to a personal emergency must first contact a Guest Services representative to make arrangements. All individuals two years of age or older must possess a valid ticket for entry.

Parking lots

Green Lot. Enter through Malcolm X Ave. SE and 8th Street SE (2915 8th Street SE). Parking is $20 per car on event day. Cash and credit accepted.
Parking garage behind the Arena. Enter at Cypress Avenue and follow until it intersects with Pecan St. SE. Paid parking available on event days. Cash and credit accepted.
On-street parking (St. Elizabeths campus). Available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Food worth the line

Concessions are operated by Events DC's concessionaire, Aramark. Alcohol is limited to two drinks per person, per transaction, and all alcohol sales stop 60 minutes before the end of the event.

What size bag can I bring into CareFirst Arena?

Bags up to 5" x 7" are allowed at CareFirst Arena, and they do not have to be clear. No bags, backpacks, purses, or luggage are permitted. Wallet-size clutches no larger than 5 by 7 inches are permitted. Medical bags or parenting/diaper bags no larger than 14 by 14 by 6 inches are permitted (child must be present for parenting bags) and are subject to security screening. There are no bag checks or bag storage locations available to the public. Camera bags are not permitted.

Can you bring outside food into CareFirst Arena?

Outside food and beverages are prohibited. Guests are allowed one empty plastic or metallic bottle for use at arena water fountains and bottle refilling stations.
