Tailgate lots open 6 hours prior to kick-off (no earlier than 7 a.m. on weekends / 2 p.m. on weekdays) and close 4 hours after the game ends or midnight, whichever is earlier.

Getting in

Gates. Public Gates (open 1.5 hours prior to game time). Huntington Bank Stadium ticket office opens 3 hours prior to kick-off. Auxiliary/credential entrances open at varying times: Cook County (football recruits) 2 hours prior, Dodge County (media/credentials) 5 hours prior but no earlier than 7 a.m., Murray County (concessionaire/food service) 6 hours prior, and Lincoln County (security/custodial, S-A ticket pickup) 7 hours prior. Tailgate lots open 6 hours prior to kick-off..
Transit. Metro Transit provides maps and schedules at metrotransit.org/gopher-sports; Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (mvta.com) serves the south metro; Lorenz Bus Service offers group charter buses. St. Paul Gopher Football Shuttle transports fans from Lot S108 (St. Paul fairgrounds lot) to the stadium and back, running continuously starting 3 hours before the game and every 10 minutes during the game.
Tailgating. Prohibited: kegs, drinking game accessories, large-quantity/common-source alcohol containers, glass containers of any kind, disruptive music/noise, couches or large furniture, unauthorized promotional/marketing activity, unauthorized sale of products/food/beverages, and blocking travel aisles. Permitted: consumption of alcohol by legal-age persons in compliance with laws, portable outdoor furniture, portable generators, and tents/awnings that do not block adjacent spaces or drive aisles and require no stakes (all items set up behind the white fire line). Vehicles parking together must arrive together; saving spaces is not permitted; all spaces require a parking pass. Standard portable restrooms and trash/recycling bags are provided.
Accessibility. ADA parking is available in each parking facility surrounding the stadium; requires a gameday parking pass plus a government-issued ADA placard. University Avenue Ramp is recommended for single-game ADA parking (then 4th Street Ramp, then Oak Street Ramp). A designated ADA dropoff location is off University Ave. on the southwest corner of the stadium near Gate E. Courtesy shuttles operate from surrounding lots; paratransit service operates pre-game, during, and one hour post-game from Lot S108. Elevators are available at all major gates (priority for guests requiring extra assistance). ADA and handicap accessible seats are available throughout; contact Gopher Fan Relations at 1-800-U-GOPHER or GopherSports@umn.edu. Complimentary bag check is located in the University Ave. Lobby of Williams Arena. Live captioning is provided on the main and auxiliary video boards and concourse TVs. M Health Fairview Mamava lactation pods are on the main concourse near Gate A and the 4th floor loge level, plus near Club Cambria.
Entry. Prohibited: Animals (except service animals), Backpacks, luggage, grocery, duffle bags, large bags, large purses, cinch bags, computer bags, briefcases, and any other bag that does not meet the bag policy, Balloons, Balls (beach balls, footballs, baseballs, etc.), Banners or signs exceeding 24" x 36", Boxes, wrapped gifts or items, Camcorders and tripods, Cameras with lenses over six inches long, Cans, bottles, and thermoses (exception: fans may bring an empty clear plastic bottle into the venue. Water fountains are available within the facility)., Chairbacks with structural metal frames or that attach to benches, soft seat cushions less than 2" thick without framing are permitted, Coolers of any kind, including small soft packs, Externally-Powered Heated Blankets, Fireworks, Illegal drugs, Laptops, iPads, tablets, video cameras, or any large electronic devices, Laser pointers, Markers (permanent) and/or paint, Noisemaking devices, Oars, Objects that can be used as a missile or projectile, Offensive or profane signage, Outside food and drinks, Pepper spray or mace (aerosol or gel), Smoking devices (vape pens, e-cigars, tank systems, etc.), Sticks, selfie sticks, and flag poles, Strollers, Tobacco products, Umbrellas, Weapons, All other items deemed prohibited at the discretion of stadium management. Food worth the line

Concessions are available throughout the stadium and all concession stands are cashless. Beer, wine, hard seltzer, ready-to-drink (RTD) cans, and batch cocktails are sold throughout; full-service bars in premium areas. Alcohol sales start 1.5 hours prior to kickoff and end at the end of the 3rd quarter, with a 2-drink maximum per valid ID per transaction (must be 21+).
