Transit. The 47 Broadway serves Kauffman Stadium 7 days a week to Royals games and back; schedules at ridekc.org or 816-221-0660.
Rideshare. Rideshare services (Uber, Lyft, taxi) are available at Kauffman Stadium. Pre-Game East Side: enter through Toll Gate 3, drop off in front of Blue KC Gate D (first base), then exit west through Gate 7. Pre-Game West Side: enter through Toll Gate 5, drop off in front of Price Chopper Gate B (third base), exit west at Gate 7. Post-Game: enter through Gate 1 and look for the designated Traffic Row in the middle of Lot A. Cabs and rideshare pick up in the middle of Lot A after first pitch / after each game.
Tailgating. Tailgating is allowed, but guests must only use the tailgate area behind their vehicle. Guests will be asked to enter the game or leave the complex beginning in the 2nd inning (tailgating throughout the game is prohibited). Saving spaces, buying additional parking spaces to tailgate, and tailgating in a parking space are all prohibited; do not block the roadway; outdoor camping toilets are prohibited. Parking lots close one hour after the event ends. Larger tailgating groups could be asked to move to Lot N.
Accessibility. More than 500 reserved accessible parking spaces are available to properly licensed or tagged vehicles in all lots except Lot L and Lot N, with wheelchair ramps in all lots and a limited number of van-accessible spaces. There is a designated accessible entrance at each gate, all restrooms are accessible, and elevators serve all levels (100-level access via the UMB Diamond Club or Royals Hall of Fame lobby). Guest Ambassadors provide wheelchair escorts inside each gate and golf-cart shuttle service to/from the parking lots; accessible drop-off is available at Gates B and D.
Entry. Per MLB Security Standards, all guests must comply with metal-detection screening (or accept a physical pat-down) to enter Kauffman Stadium. There is a no re-entry policy: once a guest exits through the stadium gates they may not re-enter, except in an emergency or with an approved re-entry wristband from the Plaza-level Guest Services office. Prohibited items include weapons/fireworks (guns and pocket knives), coolers of any kind, drinks other than one sealed 1-liter-or-smaller water/sports-drink bottle per person, cameras with 12"+ lenses, noisemakers (bullhorns/airhorns/cowbells), lasers, aerosol cans, drones, baseball bats, beach balls, and wrapped gifts.
