Approved bags are clear plastic bags no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches and small clutch purses no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches. Diaper bags, backpacks, binocular cases, camera cases, tinted or printed pattern plastic bags, fanny packs, oversized tote bags, mesh bags and purses larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches are not approved. No outside food or drink.

Getting in

Transit. AppalCART runs four extra routes and two shuttles on Saturdays when there is a football game. The Purple, Express, Orange and Gray routes begin four hours before kickoff and stop two hours after the game has ended. Two paratransit-equipped buses shuttle between the stadium and the Hill Street parking lots behind the Convocation Center, beginning four hours before the game and running until the fourth quarter; from the start of the fourth quarter, paratransit shuttles run from the Stadium East Gate to the Hill Street parking lot for approximately two hours, and a 30-minute traffic delay is expected at the end of the game. On home game days a shuttle also connects the Poplar Grove Connector parking lot and the Peacock Traffic Circle. If a game is on a weekday, the normal bus schedule runs until 10 p.m. and the game day schedules run after that. All scheduled times depend on traffic. Lines: AppalCART Purple Route, AppalCART Express Route, AppalCART Orange Route, AppalCART Gray Route.
Tailgating. Malt beverages and unfortified wine may be consumed in designated tailgating locations by fans of legal drinking age, and anyone drinking must be able to show a valid driver's license or photo ID on request. Liquor, kegs, common containers and glass containers are not permitted in any tailgating location, and no outside alcohol is permitted inside Kidd Brewer Stadium. Portable toilets are provided in the parking and tailgate areas, and staff hand out recycling and trash bags in all tailgate lots. Student tailgating information is on the Office of Campus Activities web page. Yosef Club parking lots open to passholders for tailgating at 8 a.m. for games with 2:30 or 3:30 p.m. kickoffs, subject to change. For the Nov. 6, 2025 game against Georgia Southern the lots opened at 4 p.m. Tailgating times change with kickoff times as they are announced.
Accessibility. AppalCART provides a shuttle from Hill Street ADA parking to Kidd Brewer Stadium. For information on parking and seating for guests with disabilities, contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 828-262-7733 or visit the customer service booths outside the North End Zone on game day.
Entry. Fans who exit Kidd Brewer Stadium during the game may not re-enter. Walk-through metal detectors at all five entrances to Kidd Brewer Stadium; fans will not be asked to remove keys, phones or other common items before passing through the metal detector.

Parking lots

Watauga County Parking Deck. Single-game parking for fans without a Yosef Club pass, $50, near the courthouse at 140 N. Water Street.
Levine College of Health Sciences. Free, 75 first-come first-serve spaces, with the AppalCART route to campus.
Hill Street ADA parking. AppalCART shuttle to Kidd Brewer Stadium.
Yosef Club parking lots. Passholders only; lots open at 8 a.m. for 2:30 or 3:30 p.m. kickoffs, subject to change.

Food worth the line

Concession stands accept cash and card, with one dedicated cash-only lane at each main concession stand on the East and West concourses. Beer is sold at locations throughout the stadium through the end of the third quarter at $10 to $14 per can, with a limit of two alcoholic beverages per valid ID per transaction, and alcohol bought inside cannot be taken out of the stadium. Yosef's Sweet Shack in the West concourse serves frozen alcoholic slushies and other drinks, Grab & Go snack stations are on the West and East concourses, food trucks operate throughout the stadium, and shelled peanuts are sold at concession areas. Pizza is available to fans with west side club level tickets.
