Getting in

Gates. All gates open two hours prior to kickoff.
Tailgating. Tailgating must stay in the area immediately behind your vehicle; do not block roadways or sidewalks. Prohibited in lots: throwing objects (footballs, frisbees), placing tables/chairs/cornhole boards into the roadway, sound systems or noise amplification (bands, DJ equipment), cutting/removing/destroying boundary ropes or signs, destroying landscaping or fencing, and underage drinking. Corporate/professional tailgates are not allowed without prior written approval from the Department of Athletics (and Virginia Tech Sports Properties). Donor/public parking lots open 7 a.m. Saturday for Saturday games (after 3 p.m. game day for non-Saturday games). Tents and tailgate canopies may not be set up before the day of the game and must be removed by noon the day following the game. Hokie Club members with RV passes park in Lot 3 or 16 (purchased in advance). Public RV parking at Duck Pond Overflow and the Smoot Drive student remote lot. Parking Services RV lots start at $200/weekend, first-come first-served, purchased online in advance. RV lot arrival: Donor Lot 16 from 12:01 a.m. Friday, other donor lots from 5 p.m. Friday, public Duck Pond after 5 p.m. Friday; depart by noon Sunday.
Accessibility. Accessible parking is in the Oak Lane lot (across from Sigma Phi Epsilon house) for $30 via ParkMobile; VT staff issue a pass required to board the ADA bus. ADA bus pickup is at the stop sign outside the NW corner of the lot; drop-off and postgame pickup are near the entrance to Gate 3. Family/Special Needs restrooms are located behind sections 127, 205, 509, 115 and 107. Fans needing special accommodations should notify the ticket office in advance (540-231-6731).
Entry. Prohibited: Coolers/Containers/Bags/Purses (unless medical supplies and prior approved), Water bottles (with the exception of clear and empty bottles), Fireworks / Explosive / Weapons, Illegal drugs; follows State and campus guidelines, Laser pointers, Noisemakers (horns, whistles, cow bells, turkey calls, etc.), Outside food or beverage, Pets (except service animals), Signs, flags, banners, posters, Projectiles (frisbees, beach balls, footballs, etc.), Smoking cigarettes, using smokeless cigarettes, e-cigarettes, Strollers or umbrellas (exception of premium indoor areas), Unmanned aircraft (drones). There is NO re-entry at Lane Stadium. Search and screening protocols are in place for the public, fans, employees, teams, artists and contractors entering Lane Stadium. Lane Stadium security personnel and management reserve the right to confiscate items that may cause damage to the facility, endanger guests or disrupt the event, and guests who violate the policy or decline to be searched may be denied entry or ejected from the stadium.

Food worth the line

A variety of concession stands are open. All concessions are cashless (credit/debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay only). Alcohol is sold at designated stands with a two-drink maximum per ID per transaction and valid ID required; alcohol sales end at the end of the third quarter.
