Getting in

Gates. For BYU Football games, all gates open 120 minutes prior to the published start time..
Accessibility. Wheelchair seating on the upper and lower concourses of the West Stands and the lower concourse of the East Stands; wheelchair-section tickets required for ticketed events with up to three companion tickets. Limited-mobility seats available for purchase. Assisted listening devices available at the Stadium Management Office just inside Gate 3 (driver's license held as collateral). Wheelchairs to borrow for transport available at the Stadium Management Office inside Gate 3; wheelchair checks under the North and South Stands and stroller checks by Gates 3 and 10. Three elevators in the West Stands just inside Gates 2 and 4 (loge/press-box access; patrons in tops of sections 101-109 may request use with an escort); no elevators in East, North, or South Stands and upper West wheelchair sections are ramp-accessible only. All restrooms disability accessible; family disability restroom under the West Stands and by the North and South Endzone restrooms; sign-language interpretation available with at least one week notice.
Entry. Alcohol and tobacco are not permitted anywhere on BYU campus, including inside the stadium or its parking lots; smoking of any kind (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited. Only service animals are allowed inside the venue (pets and ESAs not permitted; notify BYU Special Events at 801-422-6022 in advance). Prohibited items include weapons, whiteboards, signs/banners larger than 24"x36", umbrellas, fireworks, glass bottles/cans/coolers, battery-operated megaphones, artificial noisemakers, sticks or poles, laser pointers, and video cameras. Personal stadium chairs are not permitted (chair-back rentals available at Gates 1 and 5). Exit/re-entry allowed only with an 'exit scanned' ticket or ROC pass.

What size bag can I bring into LaVell Edwards Stadium?

LaVell Edwards Stadium requires a clear bag no larger than 5" x 8" x 1". NO bag policy: bags of any size are not allowed. Small clutch bags no larger than 5" x 8" x 1" (with or without a handle or strap) may be taken in. Exceptions permitted after inspection: medically necessary items including diaper bags (one bag per person); medical supplies, blankets, and baby supplies. Camera bags are not allowed due to the no-bag policy.
