Donor lots open at 6 a.m. for kickoffs before 6 p.m. and at 11 a.m. for kickoffs after 6 p.m. (Lots 19, 20 and 21 open at 6 a.m. for 11 a.m. kickoffs and 8 a.m. for all other kickoffs). No overnight parking in donor lots.

Getting in

Gates. Stadium gates open 1.5 hours (90 minutes) before kickoff.. All premium/club entry points open 2 hours before kickoff; student gates open 2.5 hours before kickoff to expedite early arrivals; the band marches to the stadium and enters Gates 3 & 11 at 45 minutes before kickoff. Gates 1, 6, 8, 17, 18, 19 and 21 close shortly after kickoff..

Transit. Shuttle service to the stadium begins two (2) hours before kickoff with the last bus leaving the lots 45 minutes before kickoff. Stadium unloading and loading location is on 'R' Street, between 12th and 14th; buses return to the lots immediately after the game (riders may board for the return trip after the start of the 4th quarter). Pick-up/drop-off points: Northwest High School (49th & Holdrege St.), South Pointe (27th & Pine Lake Rd.), North Star High School (six blocks east of North 27th & Folkways Blvd.), Gateway Shopping Center (66th & O Street). Rideshare. General fan drop-offs can be conducted at a bus cutout located directly northwest of Memorial Stadium (northwest of Lot 8) off eastbound Salt Creek Roadway. Drop-off attempts in restricted areas are prohibited.

Tailgating. The University of Nebraska promotes responsible tailgating. Game-day parking for all lots directly surrounding Memorial Stadium is reserved for Huskers Athletic Fund donors; one vehicle per parking space and vehicles must fit within a single stall. Tailgating should only extend to available areas directly in front of and/or behind your parking stall, if available, without impeding neighboring stalls. Portable restrooms are provided by the Athletic Department; no other units are allowed. Intoxication can lead to denied entry into Memorial Stadium.

Accessibility. Season accessible permits available in donor lots 5, 8 and 9 (for state-issued handicapped permits/plates). Single-game accessible parking is available on campus first-come, first-served; Lot 9 is the primary option and the Lot 9 parking garage (14th & Avery Ave.) is $25 per game; free public disabled parking at meter spots on 14th and Vine. Donor lots 5 and 9 have free shuttle cart service for persons with limited mobility. Mobility-impaired entrances: Gates 3, 7, 11, 16A, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 23A & 24 (no elevators inside gates 3, 23A or 24). Assistive Listening System equipment inside Gate 18 (Guest Relations/Security Office) and the West Stadium Lobby. Elevator passes (2 people per pass) issued for East and West Stadiums. Service animals permitted (harnessed, leashed or tethered); assistance/emotional-support/therapy animals are prohibited. ADA ticket questions: 402-472-3111.

Entry. Memorial Stadium is No Re-Entry (new in 2025): after initial entry, if a patron leaves the stadium their ticket becomes invalid. At the start of the fourth quarter there is no entry. Memorial Stadium is 100% cashless (no ATMs). UNL is a smoke-free, tobacco-free and vapor-free campus. Concealed weapons are prohibited at all collegiate sporting events on UNL campus.

What size bag can I bring into Memorial Stadium?

Memorial Stadium requires a clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". Nebraska Athletics adheres to a clear bag policy for ALL ticketed events. Each ticketed attendee may bring one (1) clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bag not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12" (straps allowed) OR one one-gallon clear plastic freezer/Ziploc bag, PLUS one small non-clear bag (hand-size) no larger than 4.5" x 6.5". Exceptions are made for approved medical-needs items after proper inspection/tagging, handled at any gate. Standard diaper/baby bags are NOT allowed and must meet the clear-bag guidelines. Seat cushions must be 16" or less in width; backrests/chairbacks with metal fastenings are prohibited. Walk-through (frictionless) gate screening technology is used.

Can you bring outside food into Memorial Stadium?

New in 2025, no outside food and beverages are allowed inside Memorial Stadium, including food/beverages from outside vendors and sponsorship sample giveaways. Personal empty water bottles are allowed for refilling at fountains inside. Certain situations (e.g., extreme heat) may initiate exceptions, communicated by the University/Athletic Department. Medical food/beverage exemptions allowed if items meet the individual's medical need; notify the Event Management Office and items will be inspected and tagged upon entry.
