Getting in

Gates. All gates open 80 minutes prior to first pitch (75 minutes for 6:45 p.m. games).. Gates open 75 minutes before first pitch for 6:45 p.m. games; 80 minutes for all other games..
Transit. The Green Line serves the Navy Yard/Southwest Waterfront area near the ballpark. Guests can also take the Orange/Blue/Silver Line to Capitol South Metro and walk to Nationals Park along New Jersey Ave to M Street, or exit at the Eastern Market station near Barracks Row.
Rideshare. Ride-hailing pick-up/drop-off is not permitted on South Capitol Street (a busy highway). Suggested pick-up locations near the ballpark are N St SE & New Jersey Ave SE, L St SE between First St SE & New Jersey Ave SE, and M St SE & Half St SE.
Accessibility. Accommodations for guests with disabilities include ADA seating, wheelchair-accessible entrances, elevators, ramps, accessible restrooms, drinking fountains, and ATMs. Accessible parking spaces are available in all lots (call 202.675.NATS). Prior to each home game the Metropolitan Police Department allows ADA drop-off along First Street SE near the grand staircase at Potomac Avenue & First Street SE. ADA-accessible entrance gates: Centerfield Gate, 1st Base ADA (corner of 1st St SE & Potomac Ave), Home Plate Gate, Media & Suites, and Left Field Gate.
Entry. All persons entering must walk through a metal detector or be screened with hand-held metal detectors, and all jackets, coats, packages, bags, purses and other containers are subject to inspection. No re-entry: guests may not exit and re-enter Nationals Park using the same ticket. Prohibited items include weapons/firearms and pocket knives, coolers and hard-sided containers, outside alcohol, drones, laser pointers, beach balls and inflatables, and noisemakers.

Single-serving food items may be brought in as long as they are contained in one of the approved bags under the current bag policy or carried in your hands so they can be safely screened by security. Metal or glass containers are prohibited except clear, factory-sealed or empty plastic water bottles no larger than one liter, juice boxes, insulin containers, and baby food; only one water bottle per person and no frozen water bottles.
