Notre Dame Stadium

Gates. Stadium Gates A, B, C, D, and E open 90 minutes prior to kickoff each game day; premium doors (Doors 3, 4, 10, 14, and 17) and Duncan Student Center, Corbett Family Hall, and O'Neill Hall hospitality doors open 2 hours prior to kickoff. General stadium gates open 90 minutes before kickoff; premium and hospitality doors open 2 hours (120 minutes) before kickoff.

Transit. Free public route on every home football Saturday; runs 3 hours pre-game (last departure from downtown South Bend 1 hour before kickoff) and 2 hours post-game, stopping at Aloft Hotel, Century Center/Courtyard by Marriott, DoubleTree, and McKenna Hall. Campus parking shuttles begin at 8:00 am and run at least 2 hours post-game. Lines: Transpo Game Day Express.

Rideshare. Pre-game rideshare drop-off points: Compton Family Ice Arena, Rugby Lot (off Wilson Drive), and Lake Lot (near WNDU on Dorr Road). Post-game pickup at the Trader Joe's parking lot south of campus, 1140 Howard St, South Bend, IN 46617.

Tailgating. Permitted in all gameday fan parking lots before and after the game; prohibited during the game in any campus lot or green space unless University-approved. Tents/canopies 10'x10' or smaller are allowed; larger tents and all tent stakes are prohibited. Tents, tables, and chairs cannot protrude past the hash marks into driving lanes. Guests may not hold parking spaces; parking is one space per pass. Kegs and excessive alcohol, large parties, drinking games, live bands or DJs, and stand-alone/amplified speakers are prohibited. Overnight parking is prohibited (vehicles towed beginning 6 am). Golf carts and custom motorized vehicles require NDPD authorization; drones require University and FAA approval. Lots and gates open 8:00 am ET for all home games regardless of kickoff time; zipper parking starts 9:00 am. All lots close 3 hours after the end of the game, except the Burke Golf Course which closes 2 hours post-game. Propane grills are permitted but propane tanks must be under 20 lbs. Charcoal grills, fire pits, open flames, propane heaters, and deep-frying (e.g. turkeys) are prohibited. RVs, buses, and campers must use designated lots: Saint Mary's ($80 RV), Holy Cross ($250 bus/RV, $100 camper), Notre Dame Federal Credit Union ($300 bus), and Party Zone ($425 bus/RV). Vehicles larger than 7.5 ft wide or 20 ft long, box trucks, and vehicles with trailers/tow-ins are not permitted in standard lots and must pay and park in the RV or Bus lots.

Accessibility. Accessible/ADA parking in the Bulla Lot ($50) with a state-issued ADA placard or plate plus a University parking pass, with a free shuttle to Joyce Center Gate 4; ADA parking also available in the Joyce and Stadium reserved lots. The University offers assisted wheelchair transport to/from seats (wheelchairs cannot remain with guests); reserved wheelchair/companion seating is located throughout the stadium (contact ticket office 574-631-7356). Stadium elevators are near Sections 10/11 (east) and 29/30 (west). Guest Service Team members at each gate assist larger wheelchairs through security.

Entry. No re-entry: the stadium does not permit pass-outs, and anyone leaving must have a new/unused ticket to return. Metal detectors are used at all entrances; guests pass through after bag check, then have tickets scanned. A ticket is required for entry regardless of age.

Blue Lot. General, $50 per game; off Douglas Road; free for faculty/staff and football season ticket holders with valid ID; shuttle to/from Hesburgh Library; opens 8:00 am

Gold Lot. General, $50 per game; off Douglas Road; opens 10:00 am for 3:30 pm games and 1:00 pm for 7:30 pm games; shuttle to/from Hesburgh Library

Bulla Lot. Accessible, $50 per game; state-issued ADA placard or plate required; free shuttle to/from Joyce Center Gate 4; opens 8:00 am

Burke North / Burke South / Dorr. General, $50 per game; all vehicles must exit 2 hours post-game

Saint Mary's College. RV $80 / cars $40; off SR 933 south of Douglas Road; opens 8:00 am day games, 10:00 am night games, shuttles from 3 pm

Holy Cross College. Bus or RV $250 / cars $40 / campers $100; off SR 933 north of Angela Blvd; opens 8:00 am day games, 10:00 am night games

Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. Bus only (limited capacity) $300; NW corner of St. Joseph Dr & Moreau Dr; advance purchase via ticket office

Party Zone Parking Lot. Bus or RV $425 / cars $150; car parking at Twyckenham and Angela Blvd; advance purchase via GameDay Your Way
