Getting in
Transit. A complimentary West Campus shuttle runs from Mount Hall Loop (west campus parking lots) to the Transit Hub near the RPAC, from six hours before kickoff until one hour after the game.
Rideshare. Taxi and rideshare pickup/dropoff are located along Borror Drive near the Schottenstein Center and at the intersection of 17th and Neil Avenue; on event days the rideshare app directs riders to those pickup locations. Drivers cannot pick up near Ohio Stadium on event days due to traffic patterns and security checkpoints.
Tailgating. Vehicles and all tailgate activities/equipment must fit within the 8.5'x15' space provided in surface lots and garages; vehicles larger than the space must purchase an RV permit. There are no in-and-out privileges (one entrance per permit), saving of parking spaces is not permitted, and spaces are first-come, first-served. Tailgate equipment (trailers, tents, porta-johns, food & beverage, etc.) may not occupy vacant spaces, crosswalks, pedestrian thoroughfares, or drive lanes, or interfere with traffic flow. Freestanding signs must be no larger than 4x4 feet; ground-penetrating signs are not allowed without approval; canvassing, solicitation, and product sales are prohibited. Tents may be set up no earlier than 5:00pm on the Thursday before a home game in grass areas, and may not be erected inside parking lots until after 5:00am on gameday; all tents must be removed by noon the Sunday after the game. Personal port-a-johns may be delivered no sooner than Thursday 4:00pm. On game day, football parking lots and garages open at 5 a.m. Charcoal grilling is NOT permitted anywhere on the Ohio State campus (including tailgating lots, garages, and grass areas). Liquid propane grills ARE permitted following OSU fire-prevention safety protocols, and must be placed at least 10 feet from any structure. Open burning (fire pits, fire rings, stoves, or chimneys) is not allowed. RV parking is available in the Gray Lots and Buckeye Lots near the Schottenstein Center and requires an RV permit (generally sold on a season basis, with some single-game permits possibly available). RVs plus tailgate equipment and any towing/towed vehicles must fit within an assigned space of approximately 40'x60'; no in-and-out privileges. RVs must exit the parking facilities no later than 10:00am the Sunday following a game day.
