Getting in

Transit. Pirates encourage fans to park in the Golden Triangle in one of the eight Pittsburgh Parking Authority garages downtown and take the free 'T' service or walk across the Roberto Clemente Bridge. The First Avenue garage connects to the First Avenue 'T' station; fans can ride free to Wood Street Station and walk across the Andy Warhol (7th Street) Bridge to PNC Park. Dedicated Bus Service and Light Rail info pages are linked from the transportation index. Lines: "T" (light rail).
Accessibility. Accessible parking is available first-come, first-served in lots surrounding PNC Park (ALCO Parking Corporation, 412-323-4455). Drop-off zones with curb cuts are along Mazeroski Way and West General Robinson Street. Elevators serve Right Field (Sec 101), Right Suite Entrance (Sec 113), Press Entrance (Sec 117), Left Suite Entrance (Sec 125) and the Left Field Lounge; two escalator sets serve the Home Plate entrance and Stargell Gate. Accessible seating is throughout the ballpark, with wheelchairs, assisted-listening and noise-cancelling headphones, sensory bags/room, and a quiet room available at Main Guest Relations at the bottom of the Home Plate Rotunda. Service animals are permitted.
Entry. All guests and bags are subject to search on entry and within the ballpark by walk-through metal detection, bag checks, pat-down or otherwise. Prohibited/hazardous items include Bluetooth speakers, inflatable balls, hoverboards, balloons, motorcycle helmets, frisbee discs, drones, laser pointers, fireworks and footballs; weapons and other dangerous or hazardous items are not permitted. Prohibited beverages include alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages, sports drinks, cans, glass bottles and thermoses.

Parking lots

North Shore Red lots 7A / 7B / 7C / 7D. Surface lots on the North Shore around PNC Park; recommended for fans arriving from the north. Also available as credit-card-only (cashless) parking purchased on arrival.
River Road surface lots. Surface parking on the North Shore.
NOVA Place Garage. North Shore garage.
Blue 10 Garage. North Shore garage; north-arrival option and available cashless on arrival.
Red 5A and Red 6. Two pre-sold lots adjacent to PNC Park that only accept payment prior to game day; passes via the Pirates ticket office (1-800-BUY-BUCS) or season-package sales rep, or with gameday tickets in the MLB Ballpark app.
Gold 1 Lot/Garage, Gold 2 Lot, Champions Garage, Red 5 Garage. North Shore cashless (credit-card-only) lots/garages, purchased upon arrival.
Blue 7 F / 7 G / 7 H / 7 J. North Shore cashless lots, purchased upon arrival.
Rivers Casino Garage, CSC North, Stage AE Lot. North Shore cashless lots/garages, purchased upon arrival.
Downtown Pittsburgh garages (GSTC, Oliver, Third Avenue, Mellon Square, Wood Allies, Smithfield Liberty, First Avenue, Ft. Duquesne & Sixth). Recommended for fans coming from the south, west or east; over 20,000 downtown spaces plus ~50 other lots/garages. About a five-minute walk over the Andy Warhol (7th Street) Bridge; the First Avenue garage connects to the First Avenue 'T' station.

What size bag can I bring into PNC Park?

Bags up to 16" x 16" x 8" are allowed at PNC Park. Each guest is permitted to bring one soft-sided bag into the ballpark, including purses, fanny packs and backpacks, no larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches. Bags exceeding these dimensions are not permitted, and all bags are subject to search. Diaper bags for young children and bags carried for medical reasons are permitted after a security search.

Can you bring outside food into PNC Park?

Guests may bring bottled water and food. Water bottles must not exceed 24 oz and must be clear, plastic, sealed and disposable. Children's juice boxes and items necessary for medical purposes are permitted. Alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages, sports drinks, cans, glass bottles and thermoses are not allowed. Outside food and beverage is not permitted into the Home Plate Club, Suite Level, or Left Field Lounge areas.
