Clear-bag policy: bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12", or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. A small clutch/wallet no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (with or without handle/strap) is also permitted and subject to search. No outside food or drink.

Getting in

Gates. Gates to Scott Stadium open one and a half (1.5) hours (90 minutes) prior to kickoff for both regular tickets and suites.
Transit. Free game-day fan shuttles run pregame and postgame between the free parking areas (Fontaine Research Park; JPJ Arena; D3/North Grounds/The Park) and Scott Stadium's east and west gates; ADA-accessible shuttles are also provided
Tailgating. Fans asked not to block traffic lanes within parking lots so an unobstructed emergency path remains; tailgate setups not in the grass/pavement/mulch area must remain within the immediate footprint of the vehicle, allowing traffic flow through the middle lane at all times. In the free lots (JPJ Arena, North Grounds, Fontaine Research Park) fans asked not to take up multiple spaces (free parking reduced for 2025 due to construction). Premium full-service tailgate packages available via REVELXP on the green space next to Observatory Hill Dining Hall (525 McCormick Rd)
Accessibility. UVA provides accommodations for guests with disabilities at all athletics facilities. Accessible seating (wheelchair spaces + companion seats) is at the top of the lower bowl and bottom of the upper bowl in rows WC. ADA elevators accessing all floors are in the South endzone. Advance ADA tickets via (434) 924-UVA1 or uvatickets@virginia.edu; on game day, available ADA tickets can be purchased beginning 2 hours before kickoff at the East and West Ticket Services windows. All free game-day parking lots offer ADA-accessible parking and ADA-accessible shuttles. Visually impaired fans can access a delay-free audio stream via the AudioFetch app on UVA Wireless-ADA
Entry. Re-entry into Scott Stadium is prohibited (re-entry permitted only after an emergency evacuation, with proof of ticket). Guests are prohibited from the field/competition area at any time

Scott Stadium requires a clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". Clear-bag policy: bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12", or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. A small clutch/wallet no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (with or without handle/strap) is also permitted and subject to search. Each guest may enter with one large clear bag plus one approved clutch/wallet. Exception for medically necessary bags after inspection at a designated gate (temporary wristband issued). Diaper bags are NOT considered medically necessary and must be replaced with a clear bag; baby bottles are allowed. Prohibited bags include purses/wallets/clutches larger than 4.5" x 6.5", coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, diaper bags, luggage, computer bags and camera bags.
