Getting in

Gates. Gates to Scott Stadium open one and a half (1.5) hours prior kickoff.
Transit. Free game-day fan shuttles run pregame and postgame between the free parking areas (Fontaine Research Park; JPJ Arena; D3/North Grounds/The Park) and Scott Stadium's east and west gates; ADA-accessible shuttles are also provided Lines: Fontaine Research Park fan shuttle, John Paul Jones Arena fan shuttle, D3/North Grounds fan shuttle.
Tailgating. Fans asked not to block traffic lanes within parking lots so an unobstructed emergency path remains; tailgate setups not in the grass/pavement/mulch area must remain within the immediate footprint of the vehicle, allowing traffic flow through the middle lane at all times. In the free lots (JPJ Arena, North Grounds, Fontaine Research Park) fans asked not to take up multiple spaces (free parking reduced for 2025 due to construction). Premium full-service tailgate packages available via REVELXP on the green space next to Observatory Hill Dining Hall (525 McCormick Rd). Propane grills permitted; charcoal grills are not allowed; grilling of any kind is not allowed in or on any parking garage.
Accessibility. UVA provides accommodations for guests with disabilities at all athletics facilities. Accessible seating (wheelchair spaces + companion seats) is at the top of the lower bowl and bottom of the upper bowl in rows WC. ADA elevators accessing all floors are in the South endzone. Advance ADA tickets via (434) 924-UVA1 or uvatickets@virginia.edu; on game day, available ADA tickets can be purchased beginning 2 hours before kickoff at the East and West Ticket Services windows. Entry. Prohibited: Artificial noisemakers, Balls, Frisbees, lacrosse sticks, and similar items, Containers (including plastic or glass bottles, cups, cans, coolers, or flasks), Outside Food and Beverages, Strollers (except umbrella strollers), Umbrellas, Weapons of any kind, including those carried with a permit, as defined in SEC-030: Regulations of Weapons, Fireworks and Explosives, Folding Chairs, Drones or unmanned aircraft systems, Animals (with the exception of trained service animals on leashes for our guests with disabilities). Screening procedures will be in use at all entry gates. Walk-through and hand wand metal detectors will be the primary means of screening. For guests who are unable to utilize a walk-through metal detector for medical reasons, hand-held metal detectors will be used. Any person who does not consent to screening will be denied entry into the stadium.
