Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags approximately 12" x 6" x 12", one-gallon clear plastic bags or similar, and small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand can be taken into athletic venues. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. No outside food or drink.

Getting in

Transit. Fans traveling by train via NJ Transit (from NY or Philadelphia) take the Northeast Corridor train to the New Brunswick Station. FREE shuttle service from Downtown New Brunswick departs regularly beginning three hours prior to kick-off from the New Brunswick Train Station Albany Street Bus Stop (next to the taxi cab waiting area) and returns up to three hours after the game.
Rideshare. Rideshare drop-off is located in the back of the Silver Lot; rideshare pick-up is on Allison Road at the Allison Road Classroom Building.
Tailgating. Parking spaces are limited and tailgating must be confined to a small area around your vehicle. Traffic aisles and parking spaces cannot be blocked at any time. Spectators wishing to park together must enter lots at the same time, displaying matching passes. All stadium parking lots are reserved for those attending the game; if you do not attend, you will be asked to leave at kickoff time. Kegs, beer balls, and tents/canopies larger than 10'x10' are prohibited and are not permitted in the parking lots/adjacent areas at any time. University regulations and state statutes on drug and alcohol consumption are strictly enforced. Please recycle and put all trash in proper receptacles.
Accessibility. ADA parking designated spaces are available in the Scarlet, White and Jersey Mike's Arena Lots for season ticket holders; limited single-game ADA spaces are available in the Jersey Mike's Arena Lots. For more information on ADA parking, call the Rutgers Ticket Office at 866-445-GORU (4678).
Entry. outside food and beverages, bottles, cans, alcoholic beverages, coolers, umbrellas, strollers, noisemaking devices, balloons, laser pointers, pets (with the exception of service dogs), balls, weapons, sticks/poles, containers, fireworks, clothing/costumes deemed inappropriate and any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate There is no re-entry into SHI Stadium. No pass outs allowed.

Food worth the line

Sales at merchandise and concession stands are cashless (credit/debit, Apple Pay/Google Pay); cash-to-card kiosks are available behind sections 104 and 123. 'The Red Zone' behind section 128 (east side) uses Just-Walk-Out technology. The Rutgers Boardwalk on Scarlet Knight Way (opens four hours before kickoff) features food trucks.
