Getting in

Gates. Gates open 90 minutes before first pitch for Monday-Friday Rays home games and two hours before first pitch on Opening Day and Saturday-Sunday Rays home games.
Transit. The SunRunner bus rapid transit route has a stop on the north side of Tropicana Field, running every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and every 30 minutes from 8 p.m. to midnight. The Baseball Looper Trolley Baseball Shuttle operates during the season. Charter buses may drop off passengers on 4th Ave S near Gate 3. Lines: SunRunner (bus rapid transit, PSTA), Baseball Looper Trolley / Baseball Shuttle.
Rideshare. Two rideshare options for 2026: guests accessing Gate 1 are dropped off at the rideshare location in Lot 8; guests with ADA drop-off and guests entering through Gates 4 & 5 are dropped off on Tropicana Drive on 16th Street.
Tailgating. Tailgating is allowed once the lots are open for that event. Structures (sunshades, folding chairs, etc.) may not block parking aisles or other spaces. No big tents, no open flames (fire pits), no charcoal grills, and no large commercial grills are allowed. Alcohol is permitted in your tailgating area but may never be carried inside the ballpark.
Accessibility. Wheelchair-accessible parking is offered in Lots 1 and 7 (majority in Lot 7), all van-accessible; enter Lot 7 from 3rd Ave S or 4th Ave S. An ADA drop-off area is in front of Gate 4, directly across from Lot 1 on 16th St. S. All gates are wheelchair accessible. Rolling Rays wheelchair transport service is available at Gates 1 and 5 on a first-come, first-served basis (gate-to-seat, not outside the gates; no rentals). All levels have accessible restrooms, all-gender restrooms, and changing stations. Guest Services (Gates 1, 3, 4, and MaintenX SkyDeck) offers sensory bags, plus a dedicated Sensory Room and Nursing Room.
Entry. Security screening is conducted before entry using the Evolv Express screening system (walk through at normal pace carrying phones and clear bags). There is a no-reentry policy at all gates. Prohibited items include: non-transparent bags or bags not complying with the clear-bag policy; hard-sided coolers, boxes or cases of any size; alcoholic beverages; outside food or drinks (except one sealed water bottle 20 oz or less per fan); metal/ceramic/glass bottles; weapons of any kind (firearms, knives, chemical sprays over .6 oz); fireworks; projectiles; cameras with lenses longer than 12"; bullhorns/air horns/whistles and loud noisemakers (small cowbells remain allowed); bicycles/skateboards/hoverboards; sticks, poles, selfie sticks; aerosol cans; drones; lasers; audio speakers; bats; brooms over 36"; wrapped packages; footwear with wheels; and pets except service animals. Prohibited items will not be stored.

Food destinations include the Budweiser Porch in center field, an open-air patio featuring local favorites from popular St. Pete restaurants with a full-service bar serving Budweiser and local Bay Area craft beers, plus the First Base and Third Base Food Halls and the all-inclusive MaintenX SkyDeck (ballpark fare, beer, wine, and soft drinks). Tropicana Field is a cash-free facility.

What size bag can I bring into Tropicana Field?

Tropicana Field requires a clear bag no larger than 12" x 12" x 6". Only clear bags are permitted. Fans may bring one (1) single-compartment clear bag (plastic, vinyl, or PVC) no larger than 12" x 12" x 6" and/or one (1) non-clear small fanny pack or clutch no larger than 5" x 7".
