Getting in

Gates. For most games, gates open 90 minutes prior to first pitch. Gates open two hours before first pitch for Opening Day, Saturday games and special occasions, unless otherwise specified.
Transit. Public transportation is the recommended way to get to Wrigley Field. The CTA Red Line stops directly at the Wrigley Field Addison station. CTA Bus #152 (Addison) and CTA Bus #22 (Clark) both stop at the intersection of Clark & Addison streets. Lines: CTA Red Line (Addison station), CTA Bus #152 (Addison), CTA Bus #22 (Clark), CTA Blue Line (from O'Hare, transfer to #152 bus), CTA Orange Line (from Midway), CTA Yellow Line / Skokie Swift (from northern suburbs), CTA Purple Line (from Wilmette).
Rideshare. Rideshare services (Uber, Lyft) operate within a geo-fence for pick-up and drop-off around Wrigley Field on game and event days. Pick-up locations are on Addison Street between Broadway and Halsted Street, and on Irving Park Road between Clark Street and Seminary Avenue.
Tailgating. Tailgating is not permitted at this venue.
Accessibility. Accessible parking is available game-by-game in the Toyota Camry Lot (1126 W. Grace St.); paid, subject to availability, reserve in advance via the Wrigley Field Ticket Office (800-THE-CUBS) or fanservices@cubs.com. Accessible seating sections are located throughout the ballpark near an elevator, lift and/or ramp. Assistive listening devices are available free of charge from the Fan Services Booth on the main concourse behind home plate. Complimentary gate-to-seat wheelchair service is provided first-come, first-served. See the Wrigley Field Accessibility Guide for full details.
Entry. All guests, staff and media are screened prior to entry via a touchless metal-detector process (no need to remove phones, wallets or keys); mobile tickets must be scanned at self-scanning ticket pedestals. Guests may not exit and re-enter the ballpark (Gallagher Way access excepted, with re-entry closing at the bottom of the eighth inning). Prohibited items include firearms/knives/weapons, hard-sided coolers, professional-grade cameras and equipment, drones, selfie sticks, alcohol, marijuana, glass/metal/aluminum containers, and umbrellas with metal tips or larger than 10 inches. All bags and items are subject to inspection.

Toyota Camry Lot. Season Parking Holders, Game Day. 1126 W. Grace St., Chicago, IL 60613. Also the designated lot for accessible/disability parking (game-by-game, paid) and for expecting mothers.
Toyota RAV4 Lot. Season Parking Holders. 1140 W. Eddy St., Chicago, IL 60613.

Remote Parking Lot. Free remote parking for night and weekend games with a free shuttle to/from Wrigley Field; shuttle service begins two hours before first pitch and runs ~90 minutes after the game (official Cubs guide) / ~1 hour after (fan guide). Official Cubs guide gives the 2026 location as 4650 N. Clarendon Ave.; fan guide lists 3900 N. Rockwell St.
Byron's Hot Dogs lot. Private lot at 1017 Irving Park Rd. that opens to fans on game days (per fan guide).

Food worth the line

Signature concessions include the North Side Twist Pretzel (a two-pound pretzel served with three dips), Garrett Popcorn, Hot Doug's player-inspired sausages in the bleachers, and Vienna Beef Chicago-style hot dogs (the official hot dog of Wrigley Field). New for 2026: chicken & churros, a tostada stack, and the 'bow wow dog' (a chargrilled Vienna hot dog on a bao bun).

Wrigley Field sits in the Wrigleyville neighborhood, surrounded by popular bars and restaurants including Murphy's Bleachers (3655 N Sheffield Ave), The Dugout, Rizzo's Bar and Inn, Nisei Lounge, Sluggers Bar & Grill, Tin Roof, Stolen Saddle, Cheesie's Pub and Dimo's Pizza. Gallagher Way, an open-air space adjacent to the ballpark on Clark Street, is accessible to ticket holders before, during and after the ticketed game.

What size bag can I bring into Wrigley Field?

Bags up to 16" x 16" x 8" are allowed at Wrigley Field, and they do not have to be clear. Backpacks (including clear backpacks), hard-sided coolers (regardless of size) and bags larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches are NOT permitted. Other bags such as wallets, purses, drawstring bags, fanny packs, lunch bags, briefcases and soft-sided coolers smaller than 16 x 16 x 8 inches are permitted. Exceptions are made for medical bags and diaper bags accompanying guests with young children. Bags are subject to inspection. No bag or luggage storage is offered.

Does Wrigley Field require a clear bag?

No. Wrigley Field does not require a clear bag. Bags up to 16" x 16" x 8" are permitted.

Can you bring outside food into Wrigley Field?

A personal amount of food may be brought into the ballpark in a small, disposable bag; factory-sealed plastic bottles are also permitted. Guests with dietary restrictions are welcome to bring food prepared at home in clear bags or containers. No glass bottles, cans, alcoholic beverages, thermoses or hard-sided coolers of any kind may be brought in.
